The Iberdrola bus visited Calpe recently.
The company is Spain’s principal energy group and a world leader on wind powered production.
It is a travelling exhibition that aims to inform the public about renewable energies and gives simple tips on how to care for the environment while providing an “entertaining, playful and educational experience.”
There is an audiovisual area with 3D image viewers showing Iberdrola’s wind and hydraulic power facilities as well as computers with applications giving information on sustainable energy.
More than 600 people visited the bus, including Calpe’s councillors for the Environment, Projects and Local Agenda.
The Iberdrola bus is currently in Benidorm’s Avenida de Europa where it remains until August 16.
