A new website has been launched to keep people up to date with plans for the proposed windfarm at the Chilla Moor site near Halwill.
National energy company Scottish Power is looking at the possibility of installing 15 turbines at the site, measuring around 400ft high.
But the move has met with fierce opposition and more than 200 people turned out to a public meeting to oppose plans for the wind farm.
