Linton Parish Council will spend up to £5,000 in legal costs to oppose the Linton Wind Farm when the inquiry resumes next month.
The cash will be used to appoint a barrister after Cambridgeshire County Council chose not to oppose the development on highways issues.
Parish councillor Roger Hickford said: “This proves how important it is to have an active local councillor who represents the majority views of residents who elect them. The parish council opposed this on a highways issue as evidence showed 78 per cent of our residents oppose the wind farm.”
