ONSTED, Mich. —
No more windmills and wind turbines, as well as outdoor biofuel burners, will be permitted in the Onsted limits, the village council decided Monday.
The council voted to add language to its ordinance prohibiting windmills, wind turbines and outdoor woodburners from being put up in the future.
Two residential woodburners already installed and a wind turbine at Onsted Community Schools for educational purposes will not be affected by the new ordinance, officials said.
