WHEN THE WIND TURNS documents citizens' initiatives and experts from across Germany and brings together their feelings and their voices in one cinematic documentary. This documentary goes to the places where the energy transition meets the ground that people live on. It does not ask whether we should protect the climate. It asks what we are losing to a staged political agenda. Home, biodiversity and much more. Over two and a half hours, people who stand on that ground speak for themselves, and for those who have no voice.
