Residents of Padubidri, Avaralu, Abbedi, Palimar and Nandikoor (India) - Aug. 22, 2007Residents of Padubidri, Avaralu, Abbedi, Palimar and Nandikoor (India) joined together on Aug. 22, 2007, at the proposed wind energy site of Suzlon Company and urged them to restore the infrastructural facilities damaged by them. The protestors demanded that Suzlon authorities repair the extensively damaged road between Avaralu and Matti, demanded a halt to the encroachment of land and oppressing of the locals, and demanded an explanation for encroaching on the Kanchinadka school grounds.
