Wind turbine extortion

Credit:  McCook Gazette | Thursday, April 223, 2020 | www.mccookgazette.com ~~

Please contact your State and U.S. reps, senators to oppose this wind turbine extortion.

I traveled to Colorado Springs back in February – and I was appalled at the number of wind turbines that obliterated the landscape – literally hundreds, if not thousands of these ludicrous inefficient monstrosities.

Do you want to see these monsters destroy the landscape of Nebraska in the same fashion?

I sure do not want them here – at taxpayer expense … Even warren Buffet knows they are a complete sham:

Despite being famous for touting the idea that the rich don’t pay their fair share of taxes, investor Warren Buffet seems to be perfectly fine with receiving tax breaks for making investments in Big Wind.

“I will do anything that is basically covered by the law to reduce Berkshire’s tax rate,” Buffet told an audience in Omaha, Nebraska recently. “For example, on wind energy, we get a tax credit if we build a lot of wind farms.

“That’s the only reason to build them. They don’t make sense without the tax credit.”

Appreciate whatever action you are able to take.

Bruce Desautels,

Stratton, Neb.
