I hope Hopkinton residents will be wise enough to know that if they accept the pittance Avangrid is offering, in exchange for their support, they are doomed.
Your community is worth for more than a few thousand dollars, and that’s all your going to see. Think long and far into the future and decide what you want for yourselves, and more importantly the ones following in your footsteps!
Our family lives in Parishville, seemingly removed from your nightmare. But if you allow this turbine scam to materialize, you are ruining our view, our health, and our property value along with yours. Turn the tables and consider how you would be responding.
Enabling Avangrid to turn your town into an industrial turbine facility is not fair to future generations, and not fair to the majority of your fellow community members who don’t want the effects.
I implore you to sacrifice instant gratification for a more secure future.
