We should all wake up to the scam which David Bellamy calls 'silver satanic mills'

I am appalled by the rush to foist turbines on the countryside and it’s people. There is absolutely no thought on the impact and cost on ordinary people.

David Bellamy has for years been trying to alert the public on this new twist on the emperor’s new clothes!

He says: “The only good news is that the turbines work for only one third of the year, so for the rest there is peace and no birds or bats will be chopped up, no horses will be spooked.”But those silver satanic mills will still be there spoiling the view and reminding all of the following fact.

“When the blades are not turning, how do you boil a kettle or run the local hospital?

The answer is you get the electricity from coal, gas and nuclear-powered stations, all of which have to be kept in repair and running, a few ready to cut in when the wind decides not to blow.

“The turbines are not an alternative; they are a very expensive and a highly inefficient source of energy – an add-on that will cost the consumer, the tax payer and the countryside very dearly.”

We should all wake up to this which is yet another government scam.
