The Highway 14 underpass in Aurora is closed because of an accident involving a wind turbine.
Department of Roads officials say a semi-truck hauling parts for a wind turbine attempted to drive through the underpass late Monday night. The turbine parts bent metal beams on the railroad bridge.
Crews from the Burlington Northern-Santa Fe railroad will be repairing the underpass, which could take a couple of days.
Trains can still use tracks on the south half of the bridge, but highway traffic is being re-routed through Aurora.
