Süderholz (dpa) – Ein Windrad in Mecklenburg-Vorpommern ist in der Mitte des Turmes durchgebrochen und auf einen Acker gestürzt – jetzt läuft die Ursachensuche. Der Bürgermeister der Gemeinde Süderholz Alexander Benkert (CDU) forderte eine Überprüfung des Windparks.
«Die genaue Ursache müssen Fachleute klären, aber es sollte Sichtprüfungen bei den anderen Windrädern geben», sagte Benkert am Montag, nachdem am Sonntag Rotor und Turmreste auf einem Feld gefunden worden waren.
Ein Turmstumpf von 25 Metern Höhe blieb stehen. Verletzt wurde niemand. Ob der gesamte Windpark nun abgeschaltet werden müsse, solle die Bauaufsicht des Landkreises überprüfen, sagte Benkert. Besonders starker Wind sei am Wochenende nicht gewesen.
