Local MPP’s say Wind Turbine projects like the Otter Creek Wind Farm and the Romney Wind Energy Centre, are what is driving up Hydro bills.
Both Rick Nicholls and Monte McNaughton were very vocal about the list of 16 wind project contracts that was released this week by Independent Electricity System Operator.
Nicholls says that people in Ontario don’t want them and yet the Province continues to issue contracts and ignore the people of Ontario.
Monte McNaughton says he has been fighting against wind Turbines since 2011. McNaughton says it again proves how out of touch the Liberals are with the people of Ontario.
McNaughton will be in Wallaceburg on Monday to meet with people concerned about the Otter Creek Wind Farm Project, He will be at the Country Style, on Dufferin Avenue, from 8:30 until 9:30 in the morning.
If thing go as the Wynne Government would like, the Otter Creek Farm Project will go just north of Wallaceburg and the Romney Wind Energy Centre will cover the southwest corner of Chatham Kent.
