ALPINE, Calif. – Parents and community members packed the auditorium at Alpine Elementary to express their outrage and frustration over electromagnetic fields coming from the Sunrise Powerlink.
The Sunrise Powerlink is a high-voltage power transmission line by San Diego Gas & Electric in San Diego County and Imperial County. It went active in June 2012. Since then, the community says EMF levels have spiked.
