DWIGHT TOWNSHIP – A PolyJohn Porta-Potty was intentionally driven into by a vehicle and heavily damaged at the site where a new wind project is being built in northern Huron County, the sheriff’s office says.

Authorities say the incident happened between Friday, Jan. 22, and early Saturday morning, Jan. 23, at a construction site off Sullivan Road north of Schott Road.

Dale Johnson, owner of Great Lakes Portable Toilet Rentals, is offering a $300 reward for information leading to an arrest of the individual or individuals who caused the damage, according to the sheriff’s office.

The sheriff’s office is asking anyone with information about the incident to call the office at 989-269-6500 during regular business hours or Huron Central Dispatch’s non-emergency number at 989-269-6421. Confidential callers may call the confidential TIP line at 989-269-2861.
