Officers were notified of the vandalism Wednesday afternoon but investigators say the damage occurred sometime between the late hours of October 16th, and the early morning hours of October 17th.

Police say vandals tampered with a SpiderPlow boring machine, depositing debris into the hydraulic lines of the specialized equipment.

Police say most of these mischief’s are taking place late at night or during the early morning hours.

This is the 5th incident of mischief against wind turbine sites in Huron County in the last month.
