A judge has denied the request of a stay involving wind turbine projects in Huron County.
A hearing was held on Monday, September 22 and dealt with the wind turbine projects in Ashfield-Colborne-Wawanash and St. Columban.
According to CHAT, a group supporting a halt to the projects, the judge in the case ruled the group did not meet the threshold of a serious issue to be tried. If a stay had been granted, then construction on the projects would have been halted until a November hearing.
CHAT officials say they will have to wait for the appeal in November which will focus on errors in law at the Environmental Review Tribunal level.
