[Demonstration against powerline for future wind energy facility] – Yesterday morning, about 100 people, opposed to the transmission line to connect the future wind energy facility in the bay of Saint-Brieuc to the onshore grid, disrupted the last meeting of the Electricity Transport Network (RTE) at the town hall of Erquy. 225,000-volt cables would have to pass through the Caroual beach in Erquy. A collective opposes the project and is increasing protest actions. To date, their petition has received more than 4,300 signatures.
