Windmills are high in price, low in effectiveness

The headline said it all: “South Carolina’s Wind Power Lies Offshore.” Since Obama – Democrats (never separate the two) gained power in 2008, I’ve had frequent opportunities to observe wind-power, as windmills sprouted like weeds across this nation. I’ve even seen them hauled by trucks on our interstates and from 35K feet in neat lines, standing still or barely moving. The article’s cover picture got it right: They don’t move. Maybe that one was rotating, but I’ve counted them, standing in the same wind, receiving the same amount of energy, but rarely were half of them moving.
Of those that moved, half languidly rotated, while fewer than half spun. Why weren’t they moving? Under their breaths, wind advocates admit that windmills are expensive and require lots of maintenance, which, along with downtime, reduces efficiency and productivity.
I wonder, if windmills fail to work on the prairies of South Dakota, Illinois and Wyoming, what will a Cat-1 hurricane do to them? I also wonder, would the world stop spinning if the media stopped spewing Democrat-inspired hysteria? It all depends upon which side you’re on.
