Home owners whose houses are located close to older wind turbines are to be offered money to insulate their homes, Nos television reports.
According to the broadcaster, junior environment minister Wilma Mansveld is making a maximum of €6.5m available to insulate houses near to noisy old turbines.
Since 2011, new wind turbines must adhere to tough noise levels, but there are an estimated 400 houses affected by the noise of older turbines.
