The “Logan Hardin Neighbors United” opposition group will be holding a public information meeting to educate local residents about the impact of the Scioto Ridge Industrial Wind Project on Bellefontaine and the surrounding area.
The group will also be addressing topics including how to become involved, find out who is building the turbines, the reason behind their construction, how tax dollars are being used, and what may happen to property value.
The organization will also hold an open question and answer session following the program, along with educational stations containing literature, video, and photos.
The meeting takes place on Monday, July 14th at the Bellefontaine Friendly Senior Center, 934 S. Main Street. Doors will open at 6:30 p.m. and the meeting will start at 7.
The organization reminds residents that since the project was approved by the PUCO, it is urgent that residents be informed of the dramatic changes posed by Everpower to southern Hardin County and northern Logan County.
