A decision on plans for a pair of wind turbines near Felkington Farm, Norham, was deferred because of a council oversight.
The application was due to go before Northumberland County Council’s planning and environment committee, at which it was being recommended for approval.
However, the item was not discussed after it emerged the views of Duddo Parish Council had not been considered.
A council spokesman said: “Consideration of the application was deferred as comments from Duddo Parish Council had not been included in the committee report due to an oversight.
“In order to address this, the application was not discussed and will be considered at a future meeting once the report has been updated to include the comments of the parish council.”
There have been several letters of objection to the plans for the 34.5m tall turbines, mainly due to the visual impact on nearby homes and the Duddo Stones.
