Overwhelmed by rush for profit

The relentless march of wind farms goes on and on. Soon March will be surrounded by them.
Comparing the expense of each device with the power it generates when working flat out and not becalmed is a fallacy, nothing short of deception, except for manufacturers and site owners.
We are being overwhelmed by rapacious companies who have only one thing in mind – profit for peanuts.
If the Fens need these devices, I favour a low-profile generating station of adequate output powered by conventional means, exceeding by far a proliferation of wind farms.
Power units are becoming increasingly efficient economical and with decreasing carbon emissions. Not quite eco-friendly but getting there.
If climate change is partly the result of carbon emissions, whatever is being done to counter it is too late.
The die was cast 200 years ago when the Industrial Revolution began, manufacturers pumping out fossilised gases forming a shield between the earth and the atmosphere.
Even if gases no longer feed it, it will make little or no difference. The damage is done.
Hype surrounding America is unlikely to convert her to eco-friendly thinking. America’s industrial base is so formidable. To change her industries to less polutive structures would be prohibitively uneconomical. Nobody knows better than the Americans where heavy-handed dominance rules and profit is God.
China and India will take no notice of eco-friendly arguments, having massive reserves of fossilised fuel and every intention of using it to catch up and overtake the West. That is imminently possible through cheap labour. While that is the rule of thumb in the East, in the West our efforts for most part will be in vain.
Wind farms are a means to procure profit and the countryside is seen as expendable. Profit will always dictate the reason.
