Bord na Mona seeks wind monitoring mast near Timahoe

Bord Na Mona has lodged an application for a 100m wind monitoring mast at Timahoe South Bog, Coolcarrigan, to assess the suitability for wind farm development.
Submissions will be accepted on their application up to October 10.
The company which is in the process of building an enormous wind farm in Mount Lucas, Co. Offaly that is expected to open in the new year has said it has plans to build wind turbines in its large land banks throughout west Kildare.
