Planning Minister Matthew Guy said yesterday people claiming to be sick from wind farms have “legitimate concerns”.
Mr Guy said health issues now commonly referred to as wind turbine syndrome could not be dismissed.
“I think those issues can’t be just dismissed and I don’t think those people are just making those claims up,” he said.
Mr Guy said he had toured the Waubra Wind Farm when in opposition and that experience was one of the “driving forces” behind the government’s two-kilometre buffer zone policy.
