Quebec has given the go-ahead to a 50 turbine wind farm in the regional municipality of L’Érable. The $421-million project, involving Spanish promoter Enerfin, will see 50 turbines with a capacity of 100 megawatts. The project should generate 500 direct jobs during the construction phase and 25 permanent jobs during operations, government officials said. Approval for the certificate of authorization was announced Monday.
