All 30 turbines at the Scroby Sands windfarm, off Great Yarmouth, will be shut down today while engineers dig down to a cable on Yarmouth beach to establish the cause of a fault. Windfarm manager Jon Beresford said they had been aware of a fault in one of the three cables that feed power to the shore for a couple of days. The faulty cable is not the same one that had a problem last year.
