[Wind project won’t see light of day]
MONTREDON-DES-CORBIERES. Le conseil municipal aurait pu se passer de l’avis de la population pour implanter les 5 éoliennes qui verront certainement le jour au profit d’une autre commune.
Dans le respect des citoyens, forts des valeurs républicaines, le maire et le conseil municipal ont choisi d’informer et de laisser le libre choix aux habitants du village. On ne peut que se féliciter de la façon exemplaire dont ont été menés le débat et la consultation des Montredonnais.
430 personnes se sont exprimées lors du vote du 26 février : 232 non, 196 oui et 2 nuls.
Il ne s’agit ni d’une défaite ni d’une victoire. Le maire, lors de la réunion d’information, avait souligné que « Rien ne se ferait sans l’adhésion d’une grande majorité des habitants ».
La promesse sera tenue.
