Experts available

Credit:  Daily American, www.dailyamerican.com 18 December 2010 ~~

This is in response to the educational page in late November that was in your paper. The Save Our Allegheny Ridges Organization’s membership consists of scientists and naturalists and educated general members of the public who have studied both sides of wind energy.

Teachers, community leaders, township supervisors, chamber of commerce’s and tourism bureaus have the responsibility to study all aspects before making public statements.

Groups and educators should request speakers and books. Their students should not take sides but be educated in all aspects and then make up their own minds. This is a wonderful opportunity to have experts at meetings and hands-on in the class room. I know I would have been first in line to take advantage of this opportunity in my classroom.

Thanks SOAR.
