PROSPECT – A group of local residents who oppose a proposal by BNE Energy Inc. of West Hartford to build two wind turbines in town will host a rally Saturday.
The rally will start at 9 a.m. in front of Prospect Town Hall, at the intersection of Routes 69 and 68. It is open to the public.
Gregory J. Zupkus, who lives in Prospect, and Paul J. Corey, of West Hartford, want to develop the first commercial wind farm in Connecticut at 178 New Haven Road.
