Turbine health effects is topic of conference

As more and more energy companies try to weave their way into the fabric of Northern New York, more citizens are becoming aware of the huge drawbacks that industrial wind turbines bring with them.
One that bothers me, being a health care provider, is the negative health impacts, when sited too close to towns and villages where people live, sleep, go to school and work. Apparently, doctors are finally trying to figure out this syndrome, due to all the complaints coming from around the world.
The First International Symposium on Adverse Health Effects of Industrial Wind Turbines will be taking place Oct. 29-31 right across the border in Canada, just south of Belleville, in Picton, Ontario. Topics include sleep disturbance, impacts on children and incorrect diagnosis leading to increased medication use and the urgent need for human health research.
If you are a medical professional and take care of north country residents who may have wind turbines in their future, you may want to take advantage of the close proximity of this health symposium. It is open to any interested members of the public.
