Glenmore – The town’s planning commission will hear a tuned-up request from a second developer wishing to put a wind farm on local property.
Tom Mattson of Prelude LLC, Suamico, will take his request for seven wind turbines back to the Glenmore Planning Commission on April 17.
The commission tabled the matter last month, saying it needed more information from Mattson about the project.
On Monday, the Town Board OK’d a request by Emerging Energies/Shirley Wind LLC of Hubertus for a 30-year conditional-use permit to construct eight turbines on land owned by four families.
The commission meets at 7:30 p.m. April 17 at the Glenmore Community Center, 5718 Dickinson Road.
