Kolding siger nej til lovlige vindmøller

Massive protester mod 150 høje vindmøller ved Taps nær Christiansfeld er blevet hørt. Vindmøllerne bliver droppet, selvom de lever op til kravene.

Kolding Kommune stillede for et halvt år siden vindmølleplanerne i bero for at få belyst støjproblemerne.

Kommunen har nu fået svar på en række spørgsmål til Miljøstyrelsen og Sundhedsstyrelsen, og de har ikke overbevist kommunen.

Derfor vil borgmester Jørn Pedersen lade tvivlen komme borgerne til gode.

– Vi kan ligeså godt anerkende, at vi ikke skal have vindmøller, der ligger så tæt på en by, siger borgmester Jørn Pedersen (V).

Den tidligere regering pålagde kommunerne at udpege egnede steder til at opstille store vindmøller på land, men talrige protester for borgergrupper har givet de lokale politikere vanskeligheder.

Hedensted Kommune var blandt de første kommuner, som meldte fra. Byrådet mener, at store vindmøller hører hjemme i havvindmølleparker.
