A revised application for planning permission has been submitted for a windfarm in the townslands of Boggan and Ballybeagh, Tullaroan.

The plans submitted by The Church Art Generation Ltd include six turbines with a hub height of 74.5m and a maximum blade tip height of 110m, together with a borrow pit, an 80m permanent metrological mast and access roads and site works.

It replaces a previous permission for a windfarm, which was extended for five turbines (four turbines with a hub height of 60m and maximum blade tip height of 93m and one turbine with a hub height 49m and maximum blade tip height of 82m) on a site at Ballybeagh, Tullaroan.

The new application is seeking planning permission for 10 years, with an operational life of 25 years after the date of commissioning.
