AUBURN – DeKalb County Commissioners have received the first proposal to perform an independent study on the impact wind farms would have on the county, though it doesn’t appear they will move forward with it. Kansas City-based Burns and McDonnell submitted a estimate to the commissioners Monday that an analysis would cost the county $43,500 plus travel expenses and be completed by March.
