MILTON, Vt. – The lawsuit against property owners near a wind project in Milton has been tossed out.
Officials with the Georgia Mountain Wind Project had been trying to force people to move back – on their own land – because they were too close to the blasting zone. Neighbors were trying to halt the project.
But instead officials brought in extra crews to expedite the blasting process – which they were able to do without requiring the restraining order.
