A special council meeting has been called for next month to rule on plans for a controversial wind farm in new Galloway. The Blackcraig Hill development, for 23 turbines, has split both councillors and locals, some of whom have mounted a high profile campaign against the proposals. They claim it’ll ruin the landscape. Councillors decided on the special meeting after discussions this morning.
