Wind turbine noise is getting worse

Has something gone wrong with the Glyndebourne wind turbine?
I live at quite a distance from it (more than 1 km) but in recent days the noise it emits has been much more intrusive – drove us indoors this evening when trying to eat in the garden.
Sounds like an aircraft flying overhead, but instead of disappearing into the distance it just carries on and on, with a “whump, whump, whump” sound. Yesterday a neighbour’s quite noisy lawnmower started off and I thought that would drown it out, but no, “whump, whump, whump” carried on as a clear undertone to the lawnmower.
