Community Council vow to fight wind farm plans

We will never be interested in your plans!
That was the message this week from Dalemellington Community Council to the Swedish firm desperate to develop a wind farm near their village.
Their opposition reinforced by Mark Gibson of Craigingillan who also pledged to oppose Vattenfall’s proposal at South Kyle.
Last week the DCC held an open meeting with the developers and again reiterated their steadfast refusal to accept that the turbines will soon dominate the skyline at South Kyle.
