WAREHAM – Last night the Zoning Board of Appeals denied Beaufort Windpowers “Bog Wind Power Cooperative Project” off Charge Pond Road. The board all support wind power, however concerns about the effects of the turbine on abutting residents was a concern. Similar turbines in resedential areas in Falmouth have caused problems with vibrations in peoples houses, noise, and flickering lights from the shadows.
