It was a case of wine and cheese verses beer and vol-au-vents as the battle lines were drawn up in the struggle for wind turbines at Pilrow, Somerset.
Broadview Energy, the company behind a proposed wind farm on the farmland at Rooksbridge, held a supporters meeting at the Webbington Hotel, near Axbridge, where around a dozen people heard the case for a wind farm.
Down the road the following evening in East Brent Village Hall, the NoPilrow campaigners had a fundraising wine and cheese evening.
