Councillors have rejected plans for a wind farm in Wigtownshire due to concerns over its “significant adverse impact” on the landscape.
Developer RES wants to construct 11 turbines at Glenchamber between New Luce, Kirkcowan and Glenluce.
A planning committee meeting of Dumfries and Galloway Council decided to refuse the scheme.
A company spokesman said it would review the decision before “considering the next step”.
