Presteigne planning ‘scandalous shambles’

A leading protester against the proposed wind farm on Reeves Hill has described Herefordshire county councillors decision to grant planning permission as a “scandalous shambles”.
Last week, county councillors on Herefordshire’s planning committee approved controversial plans to build four wind turbines on Reeves Hill, between Knighton and Presteigne, subject to a number of conditions.
As the decision was being made, protesters flocked outside the councils planning office waving placard’s outlining their objections for the 300 foot high wind farm to be built, however calls fell on deaf ears as the majority of councillors approved the application.
