Large maps showing where proposed windfarms and pylons are to be built in the Banwy Valley go on display next week.
The Montgomeryshire Against Pylons campaign group are urging Mid Wales residents to attend a windfarm and pylon update meeting in Meifod on Friday, September 9, and view the maps that show where giant turbines could be built.
Local campaigner, Carolle Doyle, said: “What we are doing is visualising the facts about Montgomeryshire, its current status and the future invasion of wind turbines, substations, pylons and all other associated construction.”
The meeting takes place at Meifod Community Centre at 7.30pm on Friday, September 9.
