Rethink of controversial plans for wind turbines at Forthbank

Partnerships for Renewables (PfR) is rethinking its plans to erect four wind turbines in the south of Alloa.
The Carbon Trust Enterprise business confirmed it will make amendments to its current proposal which has already come in for fierce criticism from residents.
It means the current application for the 125-metre towers on the former Black Devon landfill site at Forthbank is unlikely to be decided on until after September.
In an update on the online planning application, Ian Duguid, Clackmannanshire Council’s Development Quality Team Leader, said, “While there has been some initial discussion on development options for this site, we are not yet in receipt of revised proposals.
