Delays are expected along the A47 towards Swaffham this afternoon (Tuesday), when parts of new wind turbines being constructed at North Pickenham are transported to the site.
Four turbine sections will be entering Norfolk at the A11 junction with the A47 in the afternoon, and will be escorted by police to the wind farm.
The abnormal size of the tower sections, which measure 39m long and 4.19m wide, will make the journey very slow, and motorists are advised to find an alternative route if possible.
