Wind turbines subject of meeting

The public is invited to hear John Stahl speak at the Arguello Group of the Sierra Club’s meeting at 7:30 p.m. Friday at the First Presbyterian Church of Lompoc, 1600 Berkeley Drive. Stahl is submitting plans to the County to build 90 electricity-generating wind turbines south of Lompoc. The electricity generated from these turbines will have the potential to provide 80 percent of the energy needs of Northern Santa Barbara County.
