One of the wind turbines on Ohio Northern University campus had to be torn down after a fire last week.
It is unknown if Ohio based PowerGrid Partners will be replacing the turbine that was damaged. The fire started early Friday morning, and it’s believed that the high winds which were gusting up to 50 miles per hour caused a malfunction which led to the fire. The company took down the over two-hundred-foot turbine the same day as the fire.
